Adding fert to soil mixture

6" pots, but I'm germinating my new bahia black head seeds in plastic cups (like from cheap coffee machines)and transplant them later, quite easy to tap out the soil in one lump..

Adding fert to soil mixture Hi, Ive got some Bahia Blackhead (KC Brains) germinating, and I'm using 50/50 compost and sharp sand mix as a potting medium (drains really well). I always seem to get some defficiencies after 1-3 weeks of growth, starting with the bottom leaves going pale and then brown and crispy, and then the tips of the upper leaves go brown and crispy too and growth slows down alot. Is it worth mixing some small amount of ChemPak no.2 (npk 25:15:15) into my soil mixture, as when I try and liquid Rating: 5

from some pics ive seen of Bahia Black Head, it looks quite a good strain, big apical buds given the right conditions. I might get a 400watt HPS to suppliment my 400watt MH when there deep in vegetative growth so when it comes to flowering they really do well.

then i dont need to swap over and for extra light at the flower stage i got spare 20watt cfls lying about 2700k so u know................ my grow is gona b really cheap and bodgy as its my first and im waiting to grow in the greenhouse wen it gets right
