Don't give up it's all learning. As far as males they were stressed in some way. most likely toxic build up. I was looking closer at your system . I see the idea is to top up with water. Can you post full instructions on that ? I would like to learn more in detail on it. Your in the ball park your just useing a slightly different method. I have phototrons for years , no good for bud but great for veg and clones and mothers. The trons use a closed system useing a type of moss and never change the water, however you could not use any other formula for nutes other than there's or they will die. One is now a bubbler for veg and the other will soon be a bubbler for mothers. Don't give up this is the first year I have had success and it's just getting better.

Your best bet for growing an inside garden is to find a "friend" with a female plant and ask for a clone or two. With those clones you can grow them and clone them for more plants. Inside growing can be disheartening after weeks of waiting and then your plants turn out to be males. If you mus start from seed use at least 10-15 seeds to enhance your chances of getting a mother plant to clone.

HELP PLEASE!!!!! NOOBIE FIRST TIME GROWER LEAF PROBLEM'S!

hi ,,i'm a beginner have had good results from growing in soil
but i want more crop > in lesser time ,,next i go hydroponic > sea of green
am buying what i need these days for my system
i know i should just buy a book about this ,but i have no money at least not now
a couple of questions for u with the know how
i've heard u turn the pumps on with a timer like 4-5 times a day and leave them on
for about 45 min each time ,to get the rockwool and clay peppbles soaked
i was wandering about the night cycle ? do i just do the same ,,or just enough to let the roots not dry out ? peace
