quote::Quantumhydro is the only system in the modern world to use the little known N. T. T. Nutrient trickling technique.

Quantumhydro also utilises NFT, DWC and an aeroponic action, to give you the grower the best results attainable in hydroponics.

    ahhhhhhhhhh sounds soo good!

If that's what they say that's what I would do. The system looks good it's kind of combo like it says. Flush for 3 days when you see a problem, just PH the water. Are you using cal-mag plus ? do the rockwool cubes seem saoking wet ? It looks like calcium defeincies and overwatering. Do you have good ventilation in and out ? Don't panic if I steer you to wrong the big guy's will come in. We're going to get you back to good.

hey LOC im gettin some cal-mag soon m8, i didnt know i needed it!

Rockwool ----is totally soaked and there is green slime on the rockwool aswell?? but i heard this is suppose to happen? maby not.lol

Watering-- well i was told that it was suppose to be on 24/7 trickle... and the roots are have all growed into the resovire water *totally* cant drain water out system eaither, because the roots have growen over the inside and outside there is the plant!

Ventilation-- the grow room is not air tight so i use a normal fan which is pretty strong.. is this enough for a attic setup? seems quite windy with the fan!

lights-- i have a 600w that is about 5 ft from floor? 2 low? think this could be to hot but the fan is kinda keeping the temp to around 25.and around 14 when its 12 hour lite off. fan on or off for 12 hour lite off?

LOC your a god send.lol i dont wanna waste my 400 quid on setting this up.lol
Hope the big guns can sort me out im gettin quite scared now :-s

baaa who wants to see my ugly face anyhoos!!! lol think its tall enough?? im 6 foot and the lits is about the left of my head! .lol

Your temps sound good it must be over watering. The rockwool should be moist but not soaking wet. A little bit of green algea is not bad but slime or any smell is bad. Do they not have a way to drain your table ? you might have to get a tube or siphon like for fish tanks and sneak the tube in to siphon off the water. You have to change the water every 7 to 10 days to keep fresh water and nutrients in there . How long has the water been in there ? We are getting close. I know they say 24/7 but you may have to get a timer and go 30 minutes on and 30 off or NFT's go 15 on 45 off when lights are not on. The long water roots can hang in the water 24/7 but the root ball that's in the rockwool needs to be mostly dry. rootballs like oxygen more than water. First you must be able to change water. toxic salts build up from what the plants give off in the water and poisons the water itself. you got a nice space and should not have any prob's. Your light can be closer. If you can hold your hand at the top of your plants for a minute and not burn it's alright so get the light down as much as you can. OH and if you don't have cal-mag use 1 to 2 teaspoons of epson salts per gallon of water till you get the cal-mag. Also 1 to2 teaspoons of h2o2 (hydrogen peroxide) per gallon will help to keep it clean too. I really think it's the watering that's got you but we will get you through it. Hang in there m8. Anyone familar with this system come on down. A multi timer can be set for 15 minutes at a time for 24 hours. I have one that I set for 15 on 45 off for my vents because of the cold right now. It doesn't run during dark they don't need fresh cold air when dark. Again hang in there m8 they don't look that bad yet, they can recover.

HELP PLEASE!!!!! NOOBIE FIRST TIME GROWER LEAF PROBLEM'S!

Two self-induced tragedies when it comes to indoor gardening.
    #1. Over-watering
    #2. over-feeding

Also remember that when you cut your light back and begin flowering your plants will almost double in height before they are done. If you have 6 feet of height space you might want to induce flowering at around 3 feet. If they grow too big and approach unsafe heights due to light and heat you can take a fine string/twine and bend them down by tacking the other end of your string to the wall with a thumb-tack. This will also allow light to get down to areas where it might normally not, which in turn produces nice bottom growth buds. Remember !!! Dont over-water Dont over-feed Good DRAINAGE is Good CIRCULATION is important.

One last piece of advice(although it wasnt asked for) Do NOT show your garden off to people. Including friends. I know its hard but it isnt as hard as doing time, losing job, losing house, losing kids, losing freedom, losing your bank account(mostly due to lawyer fees) Be safe. Have fun. Enjoy your harvest.

Hey m8, did you get your water changed. How long has the water been in there ? If it's been more than 2 weeks your building up toxic salts the plants give off and that's the problem most likely. Let us know everyone can learn from things like this. I can't beleive no one else has one of these systems. Come on some one.
