It depends on what your setup is. You can do mylar without a reflector at all (Zandor has spoken about this) and all "lumens" that can be reflected, will. Of course some light is going to be absorbed by other things... like the plant (that is why we are here, after all) and whatever else that is going to absorb instead of reflect. You're nitpicking a number that nobody can calculate.
