I'm New and Whats a good way to clean my pipe?

In my experience, washing a pipe is bad. Usually tastes like crap after you wash it. I prefer to scrape all the resin and junk out just to clear it up a bit so it smokes nicely.

yeah seriously, i'm done cleaning them. for now on if i need to knock off some resin i will use a wire or something, water always makes it taste bad.

I would simply clean the thing with a good rubbing alcohol followed by a nice rinse in boiling water. Soak the pipe for a couple hours, run some pipe cleaners through it, then a light boil, will be good as new.
The pistol with the pipe is kind of STUPID. Don't see the point. IMHO

I've personally used just regular ISOPROPYL alcohol in a ziploc bag with my
pipe. Just fill it enough to shake it well and actually have some of the
alcohol moving over the pipe. After about 10 minutes of this empty and put
new stuff in. After that time it should be just about clean, if not nothing
some warm water wont remove.

Darn you... I didn't know people knew the best, easiest and the cheapest not to count the correct way to clean your glass pipes. I use the 99% stuff!
