i so glad i found u dudes...ive grown befor but not as commited as i am this time. yet even now ive messed up....lol after reading thru Jeorge cervantes "indoor cultivation" i was headed to the local hyrdoponics shop (lol i live in LA) whereby i requested some VHO flos (an 8 tube bank) and was directed by the so called expert to a a 175 watt MH hid. my sprouts came up and at the time i felt confident that they wouldnt elongate because of having an hid lamp...dumb move ...i walked in stoned marveling at all the truely neat gadgets instead of paying attention. the salesman directed me to something i knew wasnt effecient enough and way too hot...the moral being...trust your grower friends and not someone whos sole motivation is profit....

either way im here and i hope the questions i ask wont bother too many of you

PS just for the record...VHO flos or HID for starters?????
