BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - Saddam Hussein launched into an extended outburst at his trial Wednesday, alleging he had been ``beaten and tortured by Americans'' while in detention after a witness testified that his agents had tortured people by ripping off their skin.

The trial's chief prosecutor said that if American-led multinational forces were abusing the former Iraqi leader, he would be transferred to the custody of Iraqi troops.

``Yes, I have been beaten, everywhere on my body. The marks are still there,'' Saddam told the court after sitting quietly listening to testimony. ``And I'm not complaining about the Americans because I can poke their eyes with my own hands.''

Saddam said other co-defendants - his half brother, Barazan Ibrahim, who had been head of intelligence, and Taha Yassin Ramadan, a former vice president - were beaten by their American captors.

Well if we beat their guys we are being hypocrits. I don't think they should be beaten, it sets a bad image. Get the most accomplished with the smallest display of force. The only situation in which I would change my mind is if it was Batman and a couple of jedis beating Saddam's ass... That would just be awesome.

It's too bad that our people get beaten, but their people should be beaten on

damn homie i cant believe that i have to be a part of this world.its probobly true maybe they do kick ass but that man was fucked up back in the day.everyone is fucked up.i read in a article that sadam was at a sporting event back in the day.he seen a 13 year old girl that he was interested in.he sent gifts to the father and ordered him to bring the girl to his palace.then he raped her and sent her home.when the father heard of this he was angry and when sadam heard he ordered the man to send his other young daughter or else he would be killed.i dont reaaly give a shit about none of this.people are stupid
