Hello friendowl You know I hate to see unanswered posts, so if I can I like to try and answer them.

In all honesty I don't know what to say but I do know that pollen is really fine stuff that will spread everywhere
I'll tell you what I would do friendowl, I would get some water in there and really give the place a good scrubing out.
I don't know if disenfectant would be of any use but every spring I give my grow room a really good clean out with strong disenfectant.
However I do leave the door open for a week or so afterwards and let the place totally dry out before starting anymore grows in there

I'm not sure how much use that would be for dealing with pollen though
Also I have absolutely no idea what the "shelf life" of pollen is.
