Purple Buds!?
I don't think this is a problem at all, but I would just like to get a few opinions. I just recently harvested the main cola on my White Widow female, then lowered the lights for the 4 other colas to mature a bit more. The next day I checked them, and with the new light, they were growing like crazy! But here is the weird thing. All the new bud growth on the lower 4 colas is the most wonderful lavender purple color as opposed to the standard green of the rest of them. This didn't happen with the main cola and I know it's not a deficiency of any kind because the stems and leaves are fine. All elements of my grow setup are in check and doing fine. I have never heard of and of the White strains giving off this amazing purple color. Well with White Widow, there are a lot of copies and I have the Nirvana WW, who knows the lineage of it really. Anyone ever have anything strange happen like this?
