its a stupid pointless law, i live there. supposedly if your over 18 its legal for u to carry an oz. of weed legally but weed is illegal by federal law so supposedly cops still arrest u for having it, its not like were amsterdam where u can go to coffee shops and smoke the law basically did absolutely nothing and its not any easier to get weed here

Yeah, the law pretty much has no legal influence. It just states the local opinion of the voters. No matter what the Colorado laws say, federal law always supersedes it, so it doesnt matter.
