ummmm maybe i spoke too soon. darn this is harder than i ever thought it would be!!
i have 'dead-patches' forming on the lowest leaves on my plants in rockwell. it is like they have dried out on certain edges and gone brown n flaking away. It is only on the first leaves not on the newer ones above (the ones in soil r fine and growing v quick).
Today is their first day under the big light and it has got very hot in growing space -just under 30- but my themo probably isnt the greatest design and i will get a new one soon. I have the door open a bit, vents in the roof and a 9 inch fan blowing on them all the day. Is this too hot? 30? i have even turned the heating off in my room where they r growing to try and lower temp completely. Also one last thing: my humidity is very low (25-35) will this cause a problem? if it does then what is the best way to go about raising the humidity without buying expensive gadgets off web (feeling the post xmas pinch as the poker tables aint being so kind at moment-grrrrrrr).
Lightly spraying them with water?? or am i talking shite.
cheers for ur help guys

Unfortuantly they all are just growing straight up and not putting on any leaf at all. why is this? the first pic was taken 2 days ago and the second was taken about 10 minutes ago. (i have now moved them to the window as my mother reckons it will be better for them there but today is the shortest day of the year about 10 hours light, is this pointless too?) I had Rating: 5
