ok i used to hang around with a really religious family...the daughter was my best friend. but its been along time so i dont really know if i remember the bible stuff correctly. and this post isn't meant to poke fun at the bible its an honest question....so anyone with real input please respond...


anyways:

ok in the beginning, like when adam and eve's kids went off on their own, didn't they end up being with women/men that weren't "of god"? like basicly as if they went off outta the garden or whatever...found other people roaming around, and got with em and stuff.

i dunno if this is making any sense. but my question is....if God created everyone/everything...then how were there other people on the earth? if the only ones he made were adam, eve, and their peoples?

Actually, there weren't other people. Adam and Eve did it with each other and their kids did it with each other etc.. It's a story of incest but they had to start somewhere.

Wrong. LOL, The story of adam and eve is complete bullshit (They had two sons, DER!) Alot of the books in the bible are either false or altered greatly from their originals in order to provide "explanations" for christianity. Fact is, a ton of 'em were written just to keep people of the catholic church in order...

yeah, that whole incest deal always confused me. I picked up a bible to try to clear that up, but it was more like "so adam and eve had kids, and those kids married up with bob and bill (who came out of nowhere), who hitched up with jim and tim (who came out of nowhere).......". I'm rather surprised that the intelligent design proponents on CNN were still trying to prove how we can all trace our lineage to adam and eve, especially since we need something like 230 people to make a clean enough gene pool. I think 40 is the minumum innitial number to maintain a species, assuming you don't mind all the drawbacks of some harsh inbreeding.

well i know that i believe that the bible is TOTAL BULLSHIT...lmao...but i seem to recall somewhere they say that they left and went out into the rest of the earth and ended up finding wives and junk...but the wives i'm speaking of weren't their sisters. i dunno. maybe someday i'll look it up online cuz i'm not gonna bring a bible into my house.

but yeah the reason i asked yall is cuz i asked a guy at the washateria yesterday afternoon the same question and he never once attempted to answer it. just spouted off something about how god is real and he wants us to worship him.

I need some proof on this bible is bull-shitt stuff--any1 with links lol---How do we know its bullshit how do we know whats true or not we'd been lied to from day 1. I want to know the truth on whatreallyhappened in the beginning of the world. Im getting tired of people saying this is bullshit & thats bullshit without any proof to back it up not even the smartest person in the world can bring proof of what went on....I just want the truth man..Im just asking no reason to get atheist on me alright :thumbsup:

LOL grab a book on the history of christianity man... I swear it's almost funny to discover how many of the books conflict with the religion itself... None of it makes sense man, why do you think people get all offended when you question the reality of jesus and god, etc? Cuz they don't have SHIT to back up their beleifs...
