Truth in Trials Act. I appreciate the opportunity to gain a better
understanding of your thoughts on this issue.

As you may know, the Steve McWilliams Truth in Trials Act (H.R. 4272) was
introduced by Rep. Sam Far (CA, 17) on November 9, 2005. It has now been
referred for consideration in the House Judiciary and House Energy and Commerce
Committees. The American Medical Association, the National Multiple Sclerosis
Society, the American Glaucoma Society, the American Academy of Ophthalmology,
and the American Cancer Society have all rejected the claim that marijuana has
any therapeutic value. In addition, the National Institute on Drug Abuse
conducted an exhaustive review of the medical literature and found little or no
effectiveness of marijuana when used for medical purposes. Furthermore, the
bulk of our law enforcement community insists that legalization may increase
crime and traffic fatalities and will hamper their efforts to prevent the spread
of all types of drugs into our communities. Should this legislation come to the
floor of the House for a vote, please be assured that I will keep your thoughts
in mind.

you have concerns regarding any issue under consideration in Congress.

Hey dude you can reply him that is arguments about criminality spreading has no funding...It doesn't make sens neither...And i ask you a question...If you allow people to buy a substance legally in a shop, will they keep on buying it illegally on the street?? Of course, no...If those "criminal" have no customer, will they keep on doing the same job, which is criminal? So criminality won't raise because you legalize a substance, take exemple on Amsterdam! Some people say they are a pleague to our society but in fact, their heroin consumption as dropped (btw USA is the number one of heroin consumption, and all the other drugs) their pot consumption as dropped, criminality has dropped...So what is the problem about legalizing a drug? Big corporate will lose a shit load of money and the economy will be unbalanced for a couple of year...And like most of people only care about money, they do not want their precious to disapeir...
