I just use a ziplock, and suck the air out before sealing it. Kept my most recent 8th good for its two week lifespan. And if fits anywhere in a baggie, no worry about having an odd buldge in your pockets.

mason jar... plastic after a while will aid in the formation of mold to your MJ and thats not good, its not that bad, but its not good.... and if its too dry like crumbly dry, get a cheese cloth, put it on top of the jar, put a slice of orange on there, just the peel, let it hang in there a lil bit and then close the jar, cheese cloth might get a little twisted but no big deal... as far as the air in there.... you can't do anything really about it, but if you had that foodsaver with mason jars you can vaccum that motherfucker too and you would be solid for like a year
