You really can't beat cats (I love all animals though, don't get me wrong), they're awesome.. cover up their faesces, walk themselves, loving, small enough to have lie on your lap, or with you for ages without getting uncomfortable.
Also when high, their purring is a nice sound you can hear over everything else
