Trichome, Harddon, Etc. Need Some Help Dudes!
One of the top leafs on one of my plants is curling inward. Like a fruit roll up. Not so much on the side, just inward. What could this be from? I have 225 watts on them (2 plants in a 2x2 or 2x3 box), Miracle Gro Potting Soil, and i water them whenever the soil looks dry. What am i doing wrong? Please let me know dudes. The reason i put Trichome, and Harddon, on the post is because they seem to be knowledgeable, but anyone is welcome to reply. Please help!!!!!.
Thanks,

Put your hand between the leaf and the light..if your hand is getting hot thats your problem...kinda sounds like your lights are a little to close to the plant. Good Luck!!!

Overwatering "usually" causes the leaves to turn yellow and eventually fall off because the roots are rotting. This is usually because the soil is too dense and doesn't drain properly which is a common problem with generic potting soil.
If they are curling up and drying you could have the lights too close to the tops.

yeah, i just unrolled the one thats curling, and the tip is dried out and crumbled.. The rest of the leaves are ok and the other plant's fine. U guys think it's either overwatering or too much heat? I put my hand at the top of the plants, and they felt a bit warm but not too hot. I moved the light slightly away anyway just incase. Thanks psycho. And i'm going to get a moisture guage, as you others have said. Thanks a lot dudes, i'll be sure to post progress. And hopefully after christmas, have pics to post.

Most likely the heat. Overwatering would probably not cause the curling.

They are right. Back the light off the plant some. 2 feet for 400w to 600w and 3 feet for 1000watts. Not aircooled mind you.
