I stopped Paxil cold turkey and it was the most hellish month. Horrible. It was like having the flu and a nervous breakdown all at once. Please, if you decide to stop Paxil, wean off very slowly over a long period of time. That is the most important thing. As you're weaning off, and afterwards, smoking weed should help with any unpleasantness. Good luck!
sophiastarchild Reviewed by sophiastarchild on . Considering stoping paxil. From what i have read paxil can be very hard ,almost impossiable to stop taking after you have been on it for awhile . And im considering trying to stop taking it soon . Of course i will be talking to my doctor , because you have to go little by little , no cold turkey . But the effects of stoping this med can be very hard to deal with . Just wondering If getting high alot during this hard time would be helpfull . What do you guys think ?
