Why do people call Marijuana "weed"?

alright it's ok to call it whatever you want I was just sayin that the word "pot" isn't used by young people in HS these days and if they do call it "pot" they're losers or long haired hippys like i said :P

Well dude all I know is John Lennon and the Beatles put the lyrics â??smoke pot, smoke pot, everybody smoke potâ?� in the song â??I am the Walrusâ?�. So if anything I would say you and your friends that donâ??t like the term â??potâ?� are the losers and everyone else is cool! LOL
