just few quick questions for some of u veterans out there

Firstly, at this point i have a 6' X 3' grow setup ,using a sort of hybrid ebb n flow system . I have 2 hps 400w aircooled, which produce about 45k lumens each.I also intend to CO2 inrich,but was concerned about the 44w psf thing.Have 2 ideas to solve this dalima.First idea was to combine both bulbs in 1 refector for total output of 90k lumens and use a 4' light mover. 2Nd idea is to sell of the 2 400Wers and purchase 2 600w hps which produce 90k lumens each (the same lumens as both the 400 together)and the 600w wld be the future brite digital ballast which the claim to use 27%to 30% less power

I am in the process of setting up an other pod that is 4' X 8' ,same ebb and flood,and co2 ,with my 2 1000w hps lights that total about 140k ea or 280k lumens combine light, but if i were to use the 3 futurebrite 600w hps at 90k ea with a combined of 270k lumens i wld only lose 10k lumen but use 200w less plus the added 27% to 30% energy savings of the digital ballast.

it sounds costly ,but at this point im using 2800w of power to flower ,and 480w of fluors for propagation,not to metion all the exhausting,pumps and other odds and ends.With the digital lights i wld only be using 2100W to 2200W of power for flowering

the 5 600w set ups wld cost me around $550 ea or $2750 total ,- maybe $1000 for selling the other 4 lights so $1750 total

but it might be cheap insurance to only draw as much power as the 2 1000w light im running. By the way i have my grow room running of 2 different main services to offset all of the high energy use

Need all the feed back i can get to make up my mind
