if its your tower that beeps its either your vid,mem or power supply and its probably overheating (they all usually in mos set ups will give warning beeps) also if its your monitor your tube if its a crt might be slightly cracked but not damaged enough I know viewsonic monitors come auto with hardware monitoring "hardwar" installed it usually beeps and you can see it blinking through the grill at back (ventilation). check your bios settings where it gives cpu temp, and check your video card temp and mem temp there are tons of progs that do and depending on your bios it might even be all in there(the temps that is) until you find out what exactly is beeping anything you try is hit and miss. I suggest if its overheating though(I had same prob with beeps, it was a mem chip) putting a "normal" fan on an angle so it blows right into intake of tower (alot of the time towers dont intake enough "cool" air moving air is always cooler than stagnant so try it and if it doesnt work try the others until you find out what exactly it it.) 9 times out of 10 you take it "the professionals" and they have no idea either because there are too many different companies and hardware available for any human being to know it all. so dont' waste your money. Because they charge through the nose....
weirdo79 Reviewed by weirdo79 on . Some Computer help Well I left my computer on all night because I was d/l some games. When I woke up my computer was making a weird beeping noise like if you hold down too many keys on the keybord (on some computers) it makes a weird ass noise. Now I reset my computer and it keeps saying "sync. out of range" on the monitor and my computer makes a weird non stop beeping noise. I looked in it, nothing look fried, looked under my graphics card all's fine... Any idea? It has only been about 2 hours since it Rating: 5
