Some Computer help
Well I left my computer on all night because I was d/l some games. When I woke up my computer was making a weird beeping noise like if you hold down too many keys on the keybord (on some computers) it makes a weird ass noise. Now I reset my computer and it keeps saying "sync. out of range" on the monitor and my computer makes a weird non stop beeping noise. I looked in it, nothing look fried, looked under my graphics card all's fine... Any idea? It has only been about 2 hours since it happened and i'm about to go to work so thanks in advance if you have any ideas. I'm on my bros comp right now so i'll try my comp when I get home and come back here when I can

un plug it from the wall, blow out the usb connections, and jiggle each key, litely, than wait an hour or two and plug it back in, if it still is froze or whatever the problem is, call a pro computer doctor guy.

Don't know for certain.
But seeing as you was downloading games,
I'd guess you were using kazaa or another crappy piece of P2P software.
THEY ARE FREQUENTED WITH WANT TO BE HACKER "SCRIPT KIDDIES", FILLED WITH "CRAPPY SOFTWARE" THAT TURN INTO VIRUS AND MANY MANY OTHER BAAAAAAAAAAD THINGS!
my advice to you is to check trend micro's free online virus scanner, do a search on google.com for trend micro housecall and you'll find it, its free, reliable and gets rid of virus's.
By the sound of things, someone's either fucked around with your onboard speaker or setup a virus to do that.
What a bunch of wan*ers.

step 3. wait 20 seconds
step 4. plug it back in and turn the power on
step 5. cry again for good measure.

just because things dont look fried, doesn't mean it isn't fried or messed up in some way. An error like that tells me its a hardware problem.. same with the way you're describing it. I suggest you get it looked at... If you have extra video cards or motherboards lying around, I suggest u try putting them in to test it. That is really all you, or anyone else can do.

im guessing its a hardware bassed problem as well from the sound its making that means somthing isnt loading properly. Like godsbackyard said if you have any extra parts (cpu, motherboard, vidio card) trade them out and see where you get. Its kind of hard to troubleshoot a problem like this without actully looking at the computer myself.

Step By Step.
1) Press power button.
2) Turn on monitor.
3) Error message on monitor turns on, Computer doesn't load at all it's just on.
I can't mess with the computer at all because it doesn't even practicly turn on, just an error message on my monitor.
All I have is another graphics card, i'm about to try that. Thanks for the suggestions.http://www.hawt.net <--- Awesome site
