An 1/8th is 3.5 grams. The "average" joint (picture a bunch of stoned dudes sitting around rolling and weighing and killing a couple of hours doing it...but 30 years ago) weighs in at almost exactly one gram. So logically speaking, size matters. roll big fatties and get fewer per eighth.
Here's a handy formula you can take down in your notebooks which will be on the midterm.

3.5g / 7j = 0.5gpj
