i am wondering about fertilisers and which to use on my plants. I have canna aqua vega and flores for when my nft gets going but are these ok to use before they go in the system (when they are small)? if not what is the best stuff i would be able to get in my local garden centre? as time is short. (if not a brand -i live in uk- then a type). im not really sure of what is good for weeed and what isnt or is it all pretty much the same?

Canna nutrient is pretty good. Are you going to use a full line of Canna's ? If so, you ask your local Canna dealer for a feeding chart and follow it. You will be happy with the results.
For time being, you just give your seedlings a couple drops of Superthrive per gallon of water, then you will be O.K untils your NFT is set.

i was thinking that i had enough with flores and vega. is this not so? i will pop down the local garden centre in next couple of days to see what they have but all i can remember them having is 'miracle grow' and 'blood, fish and something'. Its not the greatest garden centre in the world as i live in the middle of no-where. NO hydro shop for 100 miles+: magic.
Superthrive. is this likely to be stocked there (as in generic garden centre stuff) or would i have to order off net (time is short and the further i get into this little adventure in greenery im embarking on the more stuff i seem to need!)?
