microwaving weed?
My son is not a big deadhead (he's 20) but he likes a lot of music from my era as well. Kind of impressive since it took me a lot longer to gain an appreciation of the music from my parents generation. (swing, rat pack, musicals and stage stuff)

i love swing and 40's/50's music, too. and 80s music. and ska. and classic rock. and punk (not trendy punk...ick). and johnny cash/willie neslon type country. i like lots of stuff.

That's great. Now just stay in school young lady. But we really need to have a talk about that 80's thing.

the only thing that sucks is i'm doing the degree for my parents. if it were for me, i'd go straight into the makeup training and save money by doing just that

What kind of degree? And you're parents are right, it is worth more than a certificate. I have two certificates from tech schools and one from Cisco and I have found that the degree would have been really handy and I would be making more money. But I didn't finish college, got married and had kids first. (in that order) So it's not really for them. And yes, I went to college initially to please my parents too but as I said, never finished. And my mom still bugs me to go back to school and get one.

i know that the degree is important, which is why i'm gonna follow through with it. i wanna major in anthropology. i'm working on getting a certificate in it, too. i might minor in gender studies, too.

That's the ole team spirit. Anthropology is cool. Gender studies?....I've got one here in adolescence and one going through menopause...I don't want to understand women.
