Yellowing fan leaves after transfer!?
Hey, I just moved my plants to a bigger pot, they are entering week 3 now, and they were getting too big for the smaller pot.
When moving them, 95% of the original soil stayed with the plant, and all the roots were around the outside where the pot would have stopped them growing.
Everything seemed normal, I put them in soil, which was the one which contained the "medium" amount of fert, it wasn't specific though, it did state that most plants didn't need feeding for 4-8 weeks when placed in this soil.
After the move I gave them a nice drink, and have left them under the shitty 100w bulb I have, <still waiting for my 400 HPS>.
I potted them lower down, as I had to support them in the smaller pot, but now they are perfectly fine, and as I had overstretched them would think this was a good idea.
2 days later, I water them again, and notice that on the 3 plants that developed first there is yellowing on the fan leaves.
Now in some instances sawleaf said this was normal, but normally after 4 weeks or so, I'm pretty certain that this is the start of week 3 and not 4, In other cases its a Defiency of N, which I know how to cure, but don't know if I should do that JUST in case.
For your info : I am not adding any extra fert right now, I have some 15/30/15 which is to be diluted, but am not adding that for at least another month.
Tips would be good guys, I'm not sure if its a defeciency, fert burn, or normal!
Thanks. If needed pics can be taken, just didn't want to disturb the plants if not neccessary. It's ONLY on the first set of leaves that grew and it's only 1 of the 2 on all 3 plants.Mole2k4 Reviewed by Mole2k4 on . Yellowing fan leaves after transfer!? Just me, but I wait 4 days before adding any fertilizer after a transplant. Just use pure water for a while. (RO water or distilled)
