Best thing to do is to go to your local plant store and get a moisture gauge. They cost very little and give you the exact needs of your plant. You just insert it all the way to the bottom of your pot and when it reaches dry there, you know you need to water.

watering ?
Here's how I determine when to water. When the container your plant is in feels very light it is time to water. The frequency in how often you water depends on tempature, airflow and humidity. Try to keep the tempature between 75ºF and 85ºF and the humidity no lower than 40%. Also if you have your fan blowing directly onto the growing medium it will just dry out faster. My last grow I had to water almost three times a day. Hope this helps chris.

watering ?
i water twice a week, my plants seem to take a while to dry out as they would probably be fine if they were watered once a week, but as trichome says many things affect the rate that the soil dries out
