Opium flows out of sliced pods because they are alive, sort of like blood in a person. If you want smokeable opium, letting the water evaporate out of the tea, gentle heat, no boiling, will yeild weak opium. A stronger product can be obtained by partially freezing the tea. Apparently, the large, organic molecules become trapped in the ice, while the morphine moves to the water portion. Freeze until 2/3 ice, 1/3 water, drain water and evaporate, residue is good quality opium.

I made my first tea with it, injested it 40 minutes ago, and am feeling real nice, though not quite high. Here's my questions: Where is the opium tar stored in the plant? My friend told me it wells up in the hollow part, and that if they're dried, it it dried along the inside on the inner petals and the innter petals may possibly be smoked.
