Poppy Pod People Respond Please

I just bought 50 poppy pods, and they arrived in the mail today. I made my first tea with it, injested it 40 minutes ago, and am feeling real nice, though not quite high.

Here's my questions:

Where is the opium tar stored in the plant? My friend told me it wells up in the hollow part, and that if they're dried, it it dried along the inside on the inner petals and the innter petals may possibly be smoked.

It would seem to me that the opium is in the flesh of the poppy pod, as when harvesting you scratch the flesh. Who's right? I can't find the answer on erowid. -laughs-

Also, the tea is fucking horrid. Is there a way to extract tar from poppy pods so it is smokable opium?

Hmmm, dunno about the dried ones, but I've seen poppies and if you scratch the bulbous looking thing that the petals fall from, the opium tar (or whatever it's called) leaks out.

its inside the pods aint it like a tar like substance u then dry out to make it smokeable

Opium flows out of sliced pods because they are alive, sort of like blood in a person. If you want smokeable opium, letting the water evaporate out of the tea, gentle heat, no boiling, will yeild weak opium. A stronger product can be obtained by partially freezing the tea. Apparently, the large, organic molecules become trapped in the ice, while the morphine moves to the water portion. Freeze until 2/3 ice, 1/3 water, drain water and evaporate, residue is good quality opium.

fuck im soooo stupid i had poppies growing in my front yard, like 20 of em. when i was 15 i heard how to make opium, well i slit the pods and sure enough the tar came out. Well i wasnt sure if that was all it took so i just left it at that ARGHHH since then i moved away and now im dying to get that opium
