Need a supply list...

Thanks for the relies...I think I am ok on the actual grow tactics (although once started I am sure I will have questions), my initial questions are more geared toward small space growing and strands that will provide maximum yield in a confined area...again i have grown, but only in a large room.. I am looking now to do a single plant in a small box. I have read through the Overgrow site several times, but i can't find answers to the questions I have anywhere..not trying to be a pest, just be preparred.
Here are the questions I still have:
a. Does anyone have a beginning supply list including some sort of caseing (specifically for a small 1 plant grown in confined space)
b. What is the smallest size enclosure that can be used?
c. The best high grade strain for optimal yield in confined area
d. Can a complete 'kit' be purchased (consisting of case/box, vent system if needed on such a small grow, appropriate lighting(with temp contr in mind) for sucha small area)?

Perhaps someone has attempted such a small grow (I know mostly here we all have dreams of mega fields w/ thousands of clones) but I would like something small for personal...with the right quality maybe a harvest every 3 months of 2 oz or so? Is that possible? If so again, what s the most compact area that can be used?

a specific casing for a single plant is gonna be hard to come by.. the ones that are on the market are INSANELY overpriced... you could build a better one yourself, even if you paid yourself $50/hr for the couple hours you would spend building it + parts would still be alot cheaper than buying one... and better too, since most prefab units kinda suck

b. What is the smallest size enclosure that can be used?

basically as small as you want (within reason) my main growbox is 4ft tall x 3 square feet, but i have grown all fluoro in a 1 square foot box (that i built out of a few pieces of 1x12 that the hardware store will cut for free.. all i did was screw it together, put a lock on the door, and drill a couple holes to attach my vent fans and lighting) with great results, so its up to you

lowryder. alot of people bitch about lowryder being 'low potency', but i have seen a lowryder grow FOR SEED that still produced some very nice smoke that got us pretty baked from the little bit of bud there was on it... and i have heard lots of good things about the smoke of lowryder from other growers... all the naysayin is just pot snob bickerin if ya ask me.... however if you wanna listen to it you can get a lowryder cross.. theres plenty out there... or just any full indica strain will stay at or under 3ft... remember you control when flowering starts so you pretty much can control how big the plant will end up getting regardless of what strain you have, *for the most part*

nope... what do you mean appropriate lighting.. if you have an indoor enclosure then you NEED lighting in there for growth to occur... also ventilation is a must, the plants gotta breath too.. but the only way you could buy a 'kit' being a self contained grow unit all pre built and everything is a huge waste of $$... your looking at thousands on something that has a couple hundred in parts total... and they arent that good of a product to begin with... build your own and save yourself some $$

Mighty..thanks man....so a 2'x2' is doable..full indica.. I wasn't questioning weather lighting was needed, but rather stepping down from my previouse 600hps/600mh to a single plant grow do I need to go MH/HPS...or can I expect 2-3 oz yield from a 2' enclosure with CFL or Fluros...and as far as temp..Circ fans of course, but will that keep me 76-78 degrees in such a small enclosure...?

Also potting...previosely I used 5gl buckets (with 5-6' plants), can I assume the ratio will be the same so for a 1 1/2' - 2' plant I need 1-2gl containers?

Nutes/CO2...I used to water w/ carbonated water, and hit the with nutes once a week during veg into flowering (usually 1-2 weeks into flowering)...but with much smaller plant...are CO2 and nutes overkill?

What is the earliest anyone has swithced to flower and had a successful yield?

Also, carbon filter...Mylar..overkill?

i have germinated seeds under 12/12 but they only yield 3-7 grams.. yield is very difficult if not impossible to guess

i dont think that a 4sq.ft space will yield 2-3 oz with cfl/fluoros

that is correct.. 1gal per foot of hieght

circ fans arent good enough, the plant needs fresh air so you need intake and exhaust on your cabinet... mylar is always a good idea for walls no matter what your setu looks like

i dunno what you mean carbonated water?? dont feed that to your plant... the roots need o2, the plant above the ground needs co2... proper ventilation / air exchange will provide enough co2 easily... and if you want to give the roots a boost, bury an airstone at the bottom of your pot to increase o2 to the roots

I don't think the plants are actually watered with the stuff. I have used the charged water method, and it is ok. I have misted plants with it to add a little CO2 before the lights came on. Not a bad way to add a little humidity, and CO2 in one shot.
