I am growing a single plant in a small (1.5ftx3ft) closet. Unfortunately I think it is a male as its been in 12/12 for about a week and I am starting to see ball like growths at the nodes.

It is my first grow that has succesfully gotten to the flower stage so I want to keep growing it even if its a male, just so I can gain some experience for future grows.

My question is, even though it is the only plant, do I have to worry about pollen staying in the closet and pollenating future grows somehow. I am worried that if I allow the male plant to fully flower that the pollen will somehow get on the walls or something and then pollenate one of my girls I hope to have in there in a few months.

Is this a possibility? If so is it not worth the risk?
Also, lastly, how long do I have before the preflowers open up and could potentially release pollen.

Thanks,
