When will people learn there's no god?

You can only use "simple" as a noun if you're in Europe. :stoned:
beachguy in thongs Reviewed by beachguy in thongs on . When will people learn there's no god? I understand everyone is entitled to their own belief. I just don't understand how people can go around publicly admitting to their own stupidity. "Hey Matt, did Santa stop by lastnight?" That person would be considered a looney tune if he/she was serious. So why then when we know that there is no such thing as god, and that scientifically it's not possible. (Yeah, god made everyone and everything including the animals, dirt and trees. It has nothing to do with planet formation, Rating: 5

Everyone is so confused on what God really is because everyone has there own definition... I've said this a thousand times, myself, and still there are people coming in and saying "THERE IS A GOD YOU EGOTISTICAL TARD". S T F U.

Don't make things up. Self-sacrifice is the very BASIS of Christianity. If you meant suicide, then say suicide. To go to heaven, we have to sacrifice all pleasure, all joy, all our money (give to the poor), all sexuality (sex only to make children, anything else is sinful).... Christianity is the quintessential religion of self-sacrifice
i'll say self-sacrifice. and your not jesus, so your own self-sacrifice (suicide) would be the most egotistical, selfish act a man could commit - that's unforgivable.

I think in some instances suicide is not necessarily such a horrible thing. Say, for example, somebody is suffering from a horrible illness and they simply don't want to live with it any longer. This has happened countless times, often with the consent of family and friends who don't want to see their loved one in so much pain. Or what about Hitler's suicide? If he had just done it a few years earlier it would have been great.

There is no real proof God does or does not exist. In my opinion he exists.

correction, there is no proof god does exist based on lack of evidence, the building block of proof. there is is no proof god doesn't based on the fact that it's impossible to disprove an imaginary concept. there's really no more validity to saying "you can't prove god doesn't exist" than "you can't prove jelly bean eating space gremilins don't exist". frankly, I wish peope would base their beliefs on evidence, not lack therof.

So two thousand years of human belief count for nothing? I think you're a little too wrapped up in your own intelligence mrd. And it ain't all that.

You're using an image of the Buddha as an avatar btw. Other than the written word, what evidence do you have that he existed?

Yep. God is an excuse to explain the unexplained. We have no use for "him/them" anymore. Religon makes for intresting stories tho, no more.
