For those with only a gram to spare
Most recipes call for bud butter or a huge amount of weed and make 20 servings.
Personally, I usually don't have more than a 1/4 at all times, and I don't feel like dumping my whole stash into a batch of cookies. When I have had access to large amounts, I've experimented with leary biscuts, grilled cheese, quesadillas, etc, and before I started using this method it usually took 2-3 grams to even feel anything, and I certainly wasn't ripped. Many of the common methods used to make these little treats are incredibly wasteful. That's why I invented a new, incredibly manly way to use marijuana. I say manly in the sense that being punched in the gut is a manly experience.
now, if you'd rather have something that tastes nice, the oil portion of the instructions can be followed, but after straining put the oil in a very small glass of egg nog and stir it up, then make sure to get every last drop of that egg nog. The point of the "shotglass" preparation is to see if you've got the balls to drink that sucker. Whatever you mix the oil with, I highly suggest using a relatively small amount of some kind of liquid. Solids can take a lot longer to kick in than liquids.
Basically, the idea is that a person takes a little more than half an ounce of oil (I prefer olive oil, canola, peanut, hemp oil... it all works) chop up your weed (I've found 1 gram is good, Don't go lower than .5 and plan ahead if you go over 2.5 because you'll be out for a while) as finely as you can get it (this is probably the most important step) in a pyrex container or something that won't melt easily, add your oil to it and admire all the little weed flakes floating around in there. Preheat your oven to 335 degrees (it doesn't have to be perfect, but try to keep it between 300 and 350) and cook your oil-pot mixture for 15 minutes. Then while your oil is still very hot, pour it through a strainer and get a few of your crispy bits of weed out. Don't worry about getting every last speck, it won't hurt. Continue filling the shotglass with about 1/4 ounce of cider vinegar (or your favorite vinegar. It's just for the kick), 4 drops of tobasco sauce, and a spritz of lemon juice (I always use a fresh lemon slice). Stir it up as much as you can with a toothpick, take a deep breath, and down the shot (It's really fun if you have few people all doing them and you race through this part) but once you've downed the shot you have to lick the inside of the shotglass completely clean.
Initial reactions to the flavor range anywhere from intense gagging, to smiling. If you're the type who would actually gag this back up, don't use this method. No point in wasting money by yakking a gram back out. Fortunately, if you can stand to get the stuff down (which most people manage to do with a few weird facial expressions) it stays down, and the actual flavor doesn't linger too much. I've started feeling it as soon as 40 minutes after ingestion, and other times it's taken 3 hours. I'm sure it depends on a lot of things. Don't wait around for it to kick in, just continue with business as usual and a few hours later BAM! The shot will hit you.
I like this method and I've found it to work better than Leary Biscuts, Pot Chocolate, or any of the other common "single dose" methods.
For those worried about smell when cooking the oil or whatever, there was a smell. Actually, though, the weed smelled more while I was chopping it up than when it was cooking. Still, there was that odor of weed in my kitchen for a while, but it's pretty weak. Give yourself a little privacy for this one, and get a small fan or something that can move a little air, but the smell is not incredibly hard to get out.streettrash Reviewed by streettrash on .
