Depending on which day it is, or my mood, my opinion may be different. I feel so many people die every day, how can it be that big of a deal for just one more. On the other hand, if that one more person was me or someone that I cared about, I wouldn't like it very much.

I haven't been paying attention to the whole thing, but I figure there's probably some sort of 'reason' why he's getting killed.

Good riddance, he was a convicted murderer. SO what if he was a nobel peace prize nominee...SO WAS ADOPH HITLER...FIDEL CASTRO..ARAFAT. Thats not saying alot. Plus its EASY AS HELL to become a nominee..all you need is a professor or politician to send a letter nominating you. Hell I could be one.

All you little wannabe-clever fucks saying how happy you are that he's dead should go eat some of your own feces.

Whether or not he was guilty of his charges is beside the matter. Killing him won't bring back the people he killed, and in the last years he has contributed positively to society. I mean, the point of prison is to cause people to reform. I'm not saying by writing some children's books he's made up for what he's done. Nothing can excuse the crimes he commited. But killing him was pointless. It's kind of hypocritical that the victim's family are so anxious to have him ousted. That's just pure blood lust for revenge. He should have been left to rot in prison.

But it doesn't matter now. Whatever the case, a life has been lost, through the injection of a lethal substance into his vein. If anything, it's sickening, and it's sad that more death resulted from a case in which too much death was already present. Let's just hope whatever justice is necessary is served wherever his spirit finds itself.

The whole fight fire with fire thing just never made sense to me, especially when concerning murder.

It just proves that the prison system doesn't work... there is no reform but only punishment.
