Yeah, for all we know a supernova could occur any day now, and if it's close enough it could destroy all life on Earth. Or a giant asteroid could smash into the planet. But it doesn't matter, because we're alive now. The present is all we've got. The future doesn't exist. Enjoy yourselves in the here and now.
