Dude, that's what'll happen if you have a HUGE board with very very loose rules. (At least regarding cannabis sales)

Tons of traffic + free advertising = plenty of business opportunity for MoM peeps.

Either you allow advertising or you don't. At WT we don't allow any advertising without the person getting the express permission of the staff before hand, which prevents the mass amount of one-post advertisers from clogging up the forums.

But, with the amount of regulars here it doesn't really seem to drastically hinder regular discussion. These boards still have many cool topics and cool members, even with the MoM stuff going on. I wouldn't say they "run" the boards per say..but I hear ya. Meh...it's all about what you're looking for.

Learn something new here everyday. Didn't realize it was that easy with the right tools to gain isp addresses here. Nor did I know the mods have access as well.
No one really cares if administration and mods and of course those (feds, home invaders, rippers) with the right tools have your isp addy.. right???
After all... Internet Service Provider addresses can only be traced to the carrier, but the carrier (isp) has account records which also can be access.
I thought this was interesting.

it does not require the right tools, mods can simply look at your ip from a post you make, like every other forum in the world.
if you didnt know this, well now you do, everyone else probaly did, and if you didnt, now you do, does it matter?
