So I went back to the small town I was from to do some visiting, and end up running into some guys I went to high school with. We got to talking and it came out that we were all stoners. Anyways, they were talking about how this knew this guy who got "really good bud". So natrualy, I wanted to smoke some lol. So we end up driving for about and hour and half to go to get some of this really good bud, and the whole time these guys are talking about how high I'm gonna get etc. etc. So we finally get this pot right? This "really good bud" was nothing more than mexican brick weed! Man I was pissed, I was all excited about trying some new good bud, but no, fucking brick weed. I could have driven about an hour in the opposite direction and got some deisel(sp) haze. But this isn't the first time this happened. Am I just a pot snob or are poeple really that uneducated to what "good bud" actauly is? I'm just wondering if anyone else gets as irritated as I do when someone calls swag "good bud". Ahh, I feel better thats off my chest lol.

Damn, that sucks bro. I have run into people like that. Damn, I work with one guy like that. He's like, "hey man, come smoke a bowl of this really good stuff I got" I'm expecting to get some good smoke, he packs up a bowl, aftre about 6 hoots, nothing but taste in my mouth and a light, light buzz that stuck with me for about 15min.

i know what you mean man... whenever someone tells me they have good bud i just assume its good schwag.

they also come around tellin me they hnave kine bud for sale and i check it out and its just your average improperly homegrown bud. mostly leaves, very few calyxes and almost no visible trichomes, and avout 5 seeds per "bud"... im just like, "dude... whoever taught you what kine bud was is a douche bag. wait till i get paid man, ill show you some kine..." then come payday i smoke em up and they're like "woah. this is the bomb. can i buy some of this?"

Yeah, amature smokers. But hey, someone has to teach em, I remember when I was green to smoking pot(no pun intended lol) but I had some good teachers. But never the less, its still aggrivating lol
