Goth in its simplest form, is a subculture. A group of people who feel comfortable within each others company. There is no specific thing that defines what you need to do or be to fit into the goth scene (except of course the implied black clothing). People in the goth scene all have different musical tastes, follow different religions, have different occupations, hobbies, and fashion sense.

i sometimes wear black, but my favourite colour is blue, i prefer grunge music like nirvana and staind but i also listen to indie, punk, metal, and acoustic stuff, i hate religion in all forms but believe in respecting others and their opinions and defending those that can't defend themselves, i believe that love can conquer all but sex just for fun is good as well i hate most sports but practise martial arts and would only use it to defend myself and others

so what category do i fit into then?????????

P.S. i only smoke weed, have never tried anything else and never will

exactly dude, its like, "to express my difference to society, i'll be the same as a bunch of other ppl" i dont dress like others around my parts i try to be as different as possible.... without lookin ridiculous of course cuz i still have a sense of style and what looks good (i think )
