Goth in its simplest form, is a subculture. A group of people who feel comfortable within each others company. There is no specific thing that defines what you need to do or be to fit into the goth scene (except of course the implied black clothing). But.... there are people like that who don't call themselves Goths. So what's your point? You could get a bunch of really nice people who happen to be insurance salesmen and say "insurance salesmen are the best", but that wouldn't be true. I don't know if that's a good analargy or not, I can't think straight.
