Terence McKenna was a grand man.
Hi everyone, love you all
Terence McKenna was an ethnobotanist psychonaut who was active in almost every branch of science imaginable. He brilliantly discussed our social state, psychoactive plants, hallucinogenics, history, present and future.
He was a man who like no other could explain the difficult issues that he analyzed. The brilliant deep, slow but steady way of talking, hypnotizing his audience with a clear crisp sound and a difficult, yet comprehensive, sensitive subject.
His research was to say the least extensive. Google the man and thou shalt see. The implementation of mathematics on astrology and the I-Ching seemed logical to him, although no-one else in their right mind would try to find a pattern in those ancient ways of telling time.
If 5% of what he proclaimed, is "right" or comes close, this man, in 1000 years, will be recognized as the Copernicus of conciousness.
I personally love the man to death. I deeply truly respect him more than any other person i have come across. I wanted to see if other people knew about him. He is just one of those men who cannot be forgotten. I felt obliged to post this. I feel a warm glow after watching yet another of his lectures...
He passed away April 3, 2000. May he rest in piece and conjoin with the spirits he so loved to talk about. And remember, the cumulative point that will mark the end of our era, based on the I-Ching, which oddly enough fits the Mayan calendar too is near.. Very near.

You should read up about Mckenna's 'theory' about where the mushrooms came from and what they did for human evolution.
This is soooo fucking interesting that I wonder why this is not picked up by any darwinist.

Fruit of the gods!
All his books are classics, he was a bit of a nerd though, ever hear him speak?? Fascinating man nonetheless!
He died from a brain tumor, didnt say if it was related to his extraordinarily high prolonged exposure to shrooms....
Guy was a trooper, I hope timewave zero is correct

It is highly possible in the future to have messages relayed to you through the ingestion of a chemical, which is programmed to fire off the right neurons in your brain to imitate someone talking to you or even possibly showing you something. Mmmm I fucking worship psilocybin!
