you know, if it was really about freedom anymore i might consider giving my life to defend it, but it all doesn't matter anymore. even the severely suppressed people left in this country don't want freedom, no one person wants freedom they just want their desires to be free, and anything they don't like they want silenced. doesn't matter who you are, there is atleast one thing out there you feel better would be silenced, then out in the open and free for anyone to try. it's only human insticnt. i won't give my life for "freedom" because as soon as it's not about "our" dream anymore, i'm expendable. for instance, i can go to war for my country "protecting our freedoms", "serve my country" and all, come home, get busted with some weed and go straight to jail, with no thought of what i did to keep this country free for others, and what i fought to keep. basicly what i'm trying to say, is it doesn't matter anymore, i don't even bother to try, i don't revolt, but i don't exactly follow the laws put in front of me. it just all seems so pointless sometimes...

Screw you you little fucking twit! I too am unhappy with our government, but no! Im not willing to die for it. WTF! I speak up for our freedoms and have very strong feeling about it. Id rather fly the flag upside down than be killed by some militant asshole. Im 38 years old with a family and friends and Have no intention of dying to prove something thats been fought about for centuries.

don't take it the wrong way, ladyM he just uttered his frustration regarding our current state. I for one understand him, that's why i tried to sooth the pain. Sometimes a mans limit is just reached. Then you must vent your anger, not oppressing your deepest thoughts and emotions. Regard it as being a cry for a change.
Less eloquently put thoughts are of the same emotional value as carefully compiled theorys. Not of the same scientific worth, but containing as much as or even more emotional value.

You know it is just going to fail, our government is too powerful and those people are fucking nuts with their guns and new saviors.

You don't have to be angry man, you don't have to have money, but you are using someone elses to live. If you have these principals start living them for real. You don't like corporations and consumers, stop being one. YOu don't like money, then stop costing someone money. You don't like this government then change it or move somewhere else.
I promise if you go to some third world country where they spend all day just trying to secure food and shelter that those people are not happy. That's why they come to the US.
I don't like that so many of my freedom's are gone. My power in this situation is to move somewhere else or try to change things as I can. I have tried the latter and am working towards the former.
The smoking laws in this country will not change until the smokers have power, education and money to change the laws.

untill the world changes, i can neither join society or leave it, i have to stand and fight for what is just, i must stand and fight for our freedoms. in the end freeing everyone from the repression would be enough to repay my debt to my parents, and i can just disappear, knowing that i will not be persacuted fro growing a forest of marijuana, knowing that i will not be persacuted or attacked by law for being buck nude 24/7.

untill i know that i, and the rest of the nation, can be free, i cant stop fighting.
