MJ for depression
I myself have been experiencing depression for about 2 years now and I'm only 19 years old. My question is, I havent been diagonised by doctor but I feel I should be the one who knows my own body better then anyone else. I know im suffering depression but at the same time I feel i need to waste my time telling doctors about my life for him to tell me im depressed, thus I smoke lots of MJ to help this "undiagnosed" problem. Is anyone else travellling the same road...?

I always wondered that too. I felt like pot would literally make me really
happy just knowing that I had it, and yes it helped with my depression when
I had it. When I ran out though, I felt like my depression was in full force
sometimes, so I used to wonder if Marijuana made me feel more depressed
after the fact than if I hadn't smoked it at all. Who knows.I think it helps!!

it all depends on the breed and chemical content.
too much CBD and not enough THC make it a depressant, which can still help, but with heavy moderation.
with more THC, it becomes more an anti-depressant, BUT you cant come to RELY on it for your depression needs, so it too needs some moderation.
all in all, if you're smart, pot will help, if you're the stereotypical druggie, then you're just screwing your life up.

Here's my observations:
I've been depressed for I don't know how long, but I learned what it was a couple years ago. Smoking pot really helps, but the doc wants me on Celexa and other pharmaceutical shit. I won't touch it. I have found that a low dosage of St. John's wort is also beneficial. For me no more than 600mg. per day is fine. I took 1500mg. for a few days and went off the wall. I agree with calve, we know our own bodies best and shouldn't be wasting our time with doc's who only perpetuate the lies of pharmaceuticals because they (the docs) make money off it.
For those depressed and suffering bi-polar like me, think of this, did you have your childhood vaccinations and at what age/s? My doctor has determined that is what happened to me. I am now essentially disabled and incapable of work although I still try. Of course, there is media coverage of vaccinations causing syds and autism, etc. There is a great book called the "Medical Mafia" by Doctor Guylaine Lanctot and I say it is a must read for those who suffer like me. It talks about childhood vaccinations and the harm they cause.
Pot has also helped with my migraines, stress and anxiety too. It's the world's most natural and universal medicine, but pharmaceuticals will tell you aspirin is. The decision is yours. many of us have made the decision and here we are. It riles them to believe we perceive the (tangled) web they weave. - Justin Hayward/John Lodge

MJ for depression
After I had my daughter, I had post partum depression and wanted to lay on train tracks. Then i smoked a joint and came to my senses. So it helps, but one of my doctors said that pot can contribute to depression and makes people dependent on it. It all depends on you and what's going on in your head. All I know is after I smoked a doobie, I didn't feel like laying on train tracks.
