    Republicans sinking in Sleaze

Just as long no1 is getting a BJ while being a democrat, then everythings is fine...Right

A decade ago Newt Gingrich's republican revolutionaries seized control of CONgress after 40yrs of democrat rule by promising to end the culture of graft and corruption on capitol hill.

Today, after a string of indictment, scandals and criminal investigation that threaten to implicate dozens of politicians next year, the tables have turned full circle, it is now Bu*h's republicans who are seen as the party of sleaze.

Polls suggest that two thirds of americans believe that corruption is a serious political problem, that allied with the growing unpopularity of the war on Iraq, is raising fears in the WhiteHouse of a voter backlash in next years mid term congressional election

Since the summer, leading republicans have been hit by a steady stream of scandals.

In September Tom Delay, one of the the most power politicians in america, had to step down as leader of the House Of Repersentatives after being indicted for violating election finance laws

Bill Frist, the republican leader of the senate, is also under investigation over insider trading allegations involving the sale of his stock in a healthcare company(Correct me if im wrong but wasnt this the same charge that landed Martha Stewart in prison- insider trading).

How the Bu*h Misadministration led the country into the Iraq war, and democrat accusations that the WhiteHouse manipulated prewar intelligence, then dominated much of October And November after the indictment of Lewis Libby.

Meanwhile, Randy Cunningham resigned from the House Of Repersentatives 2 weeks ago in one of the most spectacular cases of political corruption in recent years..

But of greatest concern to WhiteHouse strategists is a criminal investigation by the Department of Justice into republican lobbyist named Jack Abramoff that could lead to the indictment of several politicians-mostly republicans-next year..

Jesse was the shit but like others with a vision he was put into check by state congress, etc....

You could put any third party you would want into power but in the end it would be "the same ol' song and dance"! :rasta:

Tom Delay wont go to trial, good chance the charges will be dropped since the prosecutor tried to charge Delay with a crime that wasnt even illegal at the time.

the only way you can have a good government is if you can have a freedom dictator.

one who dictates free will alone.

therefore has no more power than a street bum, albiet there would be no street bums in a state of freedom.
