My one sprout grew the two smooth leaves, the two beginnings of pot leaves and grew..
undefined
Hi, my baby sprouted and was looking great until it got too tall (about 4") and the stalk fell over during the night. what should I do now? should I clip it and see if it will start growing another set of leaves? Also it is in a shallow (3") dish, is this why it got so tall and fell over?
ANY HELP, THANKS!!!!!!
blame it on the boogie,

My one sprout grew the two smooth leaves, the two beginnings of pot leaves and grew..
you could try holding it up,
As for why its got tall and fell over in the first place, the reason is poor lighting.
its stretching for light, and therefore the stem is tiny.
it might sort itself up if you hold it up.
unlikely though, but then, 2 seeds of mine are growing, about 2 weeks after they were planted
so miracles happen

the main root of a cannabis plant needs at least 4-5 inches of unimpeded growth, or it stands a good chance of being male.
put them in pots as big as possible for your growing space. mine are at least 14-18 inches wide and about 24 inches deep..........bigger pot...bigger plant.. given the right amount of light.
go to overgrow.com faq for techniques on transplanting.

Thank you for the help, from both responders. The light was most likely the issue where it was sitting and I have also transplanted it into a deeper pot. I did snip off part of the stem (at an angle) with some scissors. Is the stem going to develop a flower again?
Thanks again everyone!
I'm bringing the love,
----Chris

I didn't know that Jolly,
Good info to have, mine are held up, but pretty certain its over 4 inches above the soil.
Also, my stem is getting white bumps on it, and it looks like more roots.
I'm going to repot it tomorrow anyways, should I make an effort of covering them as much as possible?
Cheers.

Just sunlight, it was in a downstairs window sill and probaqbly only got 4-5 hours of solid sun a day. I now know that baby's need A LOT of light...24/7 light? and if so how many weeks until I go to 12/12?
THANKS

If your growing by a window sill you got a LONG time before 12/12. I'd say wait 3-4 months.
