I have about 6 femanized northern lights going and they are fairly large already. I was wondering when or if I should top these plants. Does it produce I higher yield? Or should I just let them go on their own? Any thoughts would and always are appreciated.

Depends on what results you are looking for. Topping produces breaks in the branches and will eventually give you more bud sites if you keep pruning. However if height is not a consideration and you want fast production from seed to bud, let nature take its course and do not cut back.
You can always harvest sooner and clone for additional production.
