WELL, I WENT A DIFFERANT ROUTE TODAY. THE YEAST SET UP WAS ONLY PRODUCING 1 BUBBLE THRU THE HOSE EVERY 30 SECONDS. SO I WENT TO VINAGER AND BAKING SODA. IT BUBBLES ALOT CONSTANTLY THRU THE HOSE. WILL POST A PIC TOMORROW. PRETTY KOOL SET-UP.

I AM PLANNING ON PICKING UP TWO SMALL BOTTLES FROM MY WELDING STORE. ONE FOR MY VEG AND ONE FOR MY FLOWER. WILL I SEE ANY DIFF IN THE LAST 4 WEEKS OF MY FLOWER? OR AM I STARTING IT TOO LATE? hey, powder puff, are the bubbles meant to be really visible like in a fizzy drink, or smaller. Ive given it a go and it doesnt seem to be working that good. I see bubbles at the top but none rising.

For me it looked like the bubbles that are in a beer!
Did you follow the instructions exactly??
I had to do it twice..! first time, I used the wrong type of sugar..!
Maybe you did the same thing??

I ENDED UP USING 1 PACKET OF YEAST, 2 CUPS SUGAR, WARM,(100 DEGREE) WATER. I MIXED THE YEAST WITH 2 TBL SPOONS SUGAR AND 1 CUP WARM WATER. MIXED VERY WELL, SET IN WARM PLACE TIL FOAM HEAD WAS ABOUT 2". I HAD ALREADY DISOLVED THE REST OF THE SUGAR IN A 1 GALLON MILK JUG. I POURED THE YEAST MIX IN AND MIXED WELL AGAIN. I PUT A 1/4" AIRLINE IN THE CAP OF THE JUG, AND RAN THE OTHER END TO THE FRONT OF MY FAN. AS THE GAS EXPANDED,, IT WAS RELEASED IN FRONT OF THE FAN, BLOWING IT TO MY BABIES. BUT,,,, IT MAD GAS SOOO SLOWLY, THAT I HAVE GONE TO DRIPPING VINEGAR INTO A JUG OF BAKING SODA. WILL BE SPENDY IN THE LONG RUN, BUT WILL HAVE TO DO UNTIL I CAN AFFORD CO2 CANISTERS AND REGULATORS.

HERE'S SOME PICS OF THE VINAGER SET UP. ALSO. ONE OF MY BABY BUDS. END OF 4 WEEKS. 3 DAYS OF CO2, NOT SURE IF ITS DOING GOOD OR NOT YET.

I didn't do it like that, I just put the co2 in open bottles!

THIS DRIPS A DROP EVERY SECOND. THE VINEGAR LAST 1 DAY. PUTTING CO2 INTO THE AIR ALL DAY, LITTLE AT A TIME

The yeast method has lasted 6 days now!
It releases Co2 all the time as well!

WELL, AFTER NEGATIVE FEEDBACK FROM OTHER SITES, I HAVE DECIDED TO QUIT WITH THE CO2. SEEMS MY SET-UP IS TOO BASIC AND GENERIC TO BENEFIT FROM ANY CO2 ACTION. LIVE AND LEARN I GUESS. I'LL WAIT TIL NEXT GROW AND TRY IT IN A BETTER SET UP.
