Trust me my quality is first rate. I bet the quality of TC is first rate as well.
You can do a lot of things with fluorescent lights but grow that much in that space is not one of them.

of course not.. its a nice little box but not anywhere close to being worth $2700 and no way it produces 1.5 lbs
and i don't doubt the quality of anybodys crops here... did i say that??
all i said was that fluoro lights are perfectly capable of matching quality, i would theorize that they could even produce better quality, because they can emulate natural sunlight FAR better than any HID out there, but of course that can't be done with conventional cheapo fluors ya get from walmart, homedepot, etc, so the cost of the bulbs alone would make it more practical to get a HID
if ya wanna go for broke, i would bet that even yield could be matched with the use of VHO (very high output) fluoro fixtures, but the price of those for the fixture alone is way more than a single HID, and you would need multiple lights, making it very impractical, price wise.... where a standard 48'' fluoro tube could produce about 40W worth of light, a VHO will produce well over twice that in the same space, about 110W.... if anyone who grows fluoro wants to blow $300 to $500 per fixture plus $20/bulb to journal a VHO grow i'll be the first in line to watch
lol

Just my thoughts.. Flouros have their place with simple, stealth, piss ant personal use grows like mine, cloning and very early veg stage. If you are serious about growing then you have to go play with the big boys using HID lighting. Otherwise use the Sun.

very true.
when i talk about thier use i am only talking about small time personal grows
i disagree with the price of ganja being higher than gold, so im against black market ganja for now
everybody needs to grow thier own

IF YA SMEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLL!!!!! What the Roller is smoking!!!
["oh my god!..oh my god! its...its...Easy Roller from back stage ! ...in his costume! .... ..... ..... he's got something in his hand...it's a ..it's.. a crappy fluoro! tube ..he don't look happy"] .
But seriously...c'mon... like TheCheapo says...fluoros should be used for young subsidiary plants. And i'm sure the spectrum is excellent...but the discharge sucks ..the efficiency is poorand they take too much room[if one has to use 4/5 of them to light a plant!]. Ancient growers had to use fluoros, the ScrOG technique was born out of the best way to maximize these low intensity bulds...now with the HID type lights...ScrOG has been taken to a new level. And as for repeating someoneelse's bullshit...thats excactly what i do...I read books on the subject written buy seasoned growers who have worn the t-shirt and know the script.....not Part-Timers who are trying to sell me their product!! But pray you continue!\"Now go home and get your fuckin\' shinebox!\"
