Curing is drying the bud out so it will burn without too much trouble, and so that it goes down smoother.

Random questions Why do growers compress bud? :confused: I bought an 8th a while ago and noticed how it was flat like, granted it was still dank nice trichomes, red hairs, plus my friends and i got high lol.. but i recently read up on how compressing (flatening) decreases potency, et cetera.
