So legal or illegal a new class of illegal dudes are somehow frustrated In the case of psychological comfort...

The Stigma of Marijuana was abruptly removed around the time of Reagan's second Term. That means it's ingrained in those who graduated High School before 1985 that Pot is Bad and Illegal. A majority chose the Illegal way. Some see the power Pot has.

After the mid-80's, it became socially acceptable (once again) to the point where the majority chose the "Pot is Safe" FACT.
