Non-Herb-Users will eventually feel ashamed. They will feel stupid when we prove that 2+2 does not equal 4, but 5, or so the facts we provide them will seem to prove.

The Stigma of Marijuana was abruptly removed around the time of Reagan's second Term. That means it's ingrained in those who graduated High School before 1985 that Pot is Bad and Illegal. A majority chose the Illegal way. Some see the power Pot has.

After the mid-80's, it became socially acceptable (once again) to the point where the majority chose the "Pot is Safe" FACT.

drugs have taught an entire generation of american kids the metric system.

I think everyone here generally has the right point of view. "Some people are just stupid no matter what drugs they have or haven't taken." I see the whole spectrum in my own small circle of friends, some are a bit dim and fall into the cliche "pothead" catagory, some are right in the middle and some are quite brilliant despite a lack of classical education. I consider myself to be of at least above average inteligence and even though I smoke pretty much every day, I still find myself drawn to itelectual persuits, often more so while stoned.
If someone is smart and motivated to learn then a little weed now and again isn't going to make any real difference.

Whatever they were saying about pot destroying family life or something, to tell you the truth I can't remember.

I can't recall my feelings, but I know what you mean, some people won't put themselves in a certain category, like "potsmoker", because it's illegal.

As for the moronic premise, it must have been something I was mentally relating to, so no one would know about it because it was all in my head.
