Anybody here watch/heard of Mindfreak? You know, the show with Chris Angel, I freaking love this show . For those of you who don't know, chris angel has this show where he does all sorts of amazing physical feats and magic tricks. but the thing is, his stuff surpasses ANYTHING done by anybody else. plus he's a metal head which is great .
One of my favorites was his building walk. he was on top of this huge ass building around 50 stories and just friggin walks down the side of the building with nothing with him. when he gets to the bottom he just steps off the wall and walks up to the crowd to greet them.
and there was one I saw recently where he gets a guy to drive a car at him full speed and just smashes him through a brick wall, and he comes out unscratched.
I remember too there was one that actually didn't go too well. he wanted to get electrocuted by a tesla coil, the closest thing to being struck by lightning. so he wore a chainmail suit and had himself struck by a 3 million volt bolt. but, this was the only one I saw go wrong since it knocked him unconscious and he ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks.

anyway there's many more favorites I could list but I thought if anybody here watches the show they might like to add one.

And secondly... Criss Angel is an amazing performing artist. Alot of people are trying to debunk him but the idiots fail to realize that he never claims to actualy have powers.

but yeah, when you see his "psychic" feats and he admits he's just a magician, it really reafirms my belief in what big douche's people like John Edwards and Sylvia Brown are.

He makes David Copperfield look like a kid with a new magic set. Probably one of the best illusionists of the 20th or 21st century.

Geez, now you're trying to make me organize those randome memory engrams...Can't think of anything specific but the levitation of himself as well as apparently random people on the streets of Vegas was spectacular.
How in the flying fuck does he do that!!??

how about when he did that thing where he has to escape handcuffed inside a box that's on a belt moving towards a wood chipper? then he fails to make it in time and goes strait through it and it sprays blood, bones, wood, and little bits of chris into the back of the truck. all the spectators are shitting their pants when he suddenly walks out the back of the friggin truck it sprayed into! that's what I love about his stuff, always does more than he innitially proclaims.

then there's the episode where he burries himself alive in a coffin 6 feet underground. even hudini had to abort that trick. it started to rain too and the ground got all soaked and heavy. after 1h 47 minutes his hand finally came through the surface, insane man.

and the one where he blows himself up. he starts off in just jeans and a t-shirt, then puts on a leather coat and jeans, and locks himself in a box with some dinamite right beside him with a camera inside. thing blows up and he's totally fine, love it.

Don't mean to burst your conversational bubble but I think that's the only one I've seen. I go through alternating phases of watching the tube and being frustrated with the "57 channels and there's nothin on" thing. Lately I've been in
minimal tube time mode.

All the randoms are acters and they give the illution of magic by mainly just changing the camera angle and with mirrors.
But it looks realy cool and it still takes a lot of skill to do that stuff.

some of it is illusion but some i dont think is illusion. hes a spiritual guy and i think he may have tapped into the true potential of his mind.
